Michalette Haywood Named Rangel Scholar for Summer 2015

Georgia State University Honors College student Michalette Haywood of St. John's, Antigua has been selected as a scholar in the Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Summer Enrichment Program.

Students accepted in the Summer Enrichment Program are known as "Rangel Scholars," and the 2016 group will be the fifteenth class of such scholars.

The goals of the Rangel International Affairs Summer Enrichment Program are to provide students with a deeper appreciation for current issues and trends in international affairs, greater understanding of career opportunities in this area, and the enhanced knowledge and skills to pursue such careers. The program places a special emphasis on careers in the U.S. Department of State in support of the goal of creating a Foreign Service that is excellent and diverse.
