Melanie Blackburn Earns Georgia State Degree

Melanie Blackburn was among the 2,685 undergraduate and graduate students at Georgia State University recognized for earning their degrees at Georgia State's commencement at the Georgia Dome on Dec. 17, 2014.

Ralph de la Vega, president and chief executive officer of AT&T Mobile and Business Solutions and author of the best-selling book "Obstacles Welcome: Turn Adversity to Advantage in Business and Life," was the keynote speaker. De la Vega, a native of Cuba, has held numerous executive positions in the telecommunication industry and serves on several boards.
