Mary Catherine Driskell Part of Winning Team at the SEACSM Student Bowl

Mary Catherine Driskell, of Decatur, was part of a three-student team from the Georgia State University College of Education & Human Development which won the Southeast Chapter of the American College of Sports Medicine's (SEACSM) Student Bowl at the chapter's annual meeting in February.

Georgia State's group beat 27 teams from other schools in the southeast.

From here, they'll represent SEACSM at the national competition in Denver, Colo., at the American College of Sports Medicine's annual meeting at the end of May.

The College of Education & Human Development's exercise science undergraduate program prepares students for careers in adult fitness, worksite health promotion/corporate fitness, personal training, clinical exercise physiology, cardiac rehabilitation and other related fields.
