Luke Owens Selected to The 1913 Society

Luke Owens of Snellville was recently selected to be a member of The 1913 Society, Georgia State University's presidential ambassador corps.

Owens is majoring in Economics.

Among the most prestigious student organizations at Georgia State, ambassadors with The 1913 Society, named for the year the university was founded, serve as hosts for high-profile events and ceremonies. Members maintain excellent grades and carry themselves with poise and professionalism at all times.

New members were inducted into The 1913 Society on April 5, 2017. Owens is a graduate of Killian Hill Christian School.
