Karla Ascencio Awarded Sofia Romelia Castillo-Adamo Scholarship

Karla Ascencio, of Covington, has been awarded the Sofia Romelia Castillo-Adamo Scholarship.

This $500 scholarship is awarded to a Perimeter College student currently enrolled in at least 12 credit hours and has at least a 3.0 GPA. Ascencio is studying art. After graduation, she plans to continue studying at the Georgia State University Atlanta campus, where she will major in graphic design and marketing. She's on track to graduate in the spring.
