Karen Huang Takes Second Place in Lewis School Graduate Research Conference

Karen Huang of Duluth was on a team of four Doctor of Physical Therapy students that placed second in the annual Byrdine F. Lewis School of Nursing and Health Professions Graduate Research Conference at Georgia State University.

Twenty-seven posters were presented from more than 30 students in all four of the current graduate-level academic areas of nursing, nutrition, physical therapy and respiratory therapy.

Jessica Jackson (Lead), Karen Huang, Naeema Kausar, Inga Shvartsman, and faculty member Brad Farrell presented their research "Examining the Effects of Transcutaneous Spinal Cord Stimulation on H- and Posterior Root Muscle Reflexes."
