Harmanprit Kaur Recognized at 2017 Golden Panther Awards Celebrating Student-Athletes

Harmanprit Kaur of Lawrenceville was named Freshman of the Year and Team MVP during the Golden Panther Awards at Georgia State University on April 18, 2017, recognizing student-athlete excellence on and off the field.

Kaur is on the women's golf team.

The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, which includes representatives from each sport, selected the award categories and winners. Trey Payne of the football team and Sarah Renner of the court volleyball program served as the emcees for the event, which was held in the Georgia State Student Center and was attended by more than 450 student-athletes, coaches, staff, supporters and Hall of Fame guests.
