Gregory Lafortune Receives 1913 Society Community Impact Award

Gregory Lafortune of Fayetteville received the Community Impact award at the year-end banquet for The 1913 Society, Georgia State University's presidential ambassador corps. The Community Impact award honors a 1913 Society member who advocates for The 1913 Society in all areas of campus. This was the first year it was awarded.

The 1913 Society, named for the year the university was founded, serve as hosts for high-profile events and ceremonies. Members maintain excellent grades and carry themselves with poise and professionalism at all times. The 1913 Society is among the most prestigious student organizations at Georgia State University.
