Georgia State University Law Review Executive Board

2018 Feb 20

Abigail Howd of Dacula (30019) has been selected to serve on the Georgia State University Law Review Executive Board for 2018-2019.

The Georgia State University Law Review is a legal journal published four times per year by second- and third-year Georgia State Law students who have demonstrated outstanding writing and academic skills.

The Law Review's staff edits and publishes articles written by scholars, practitioners and students. Each fall issue features Peach Sheets, an in-depth view of the Georgia General Assembly's activities and the legislative intent behind significant bills. It is the state's only legislative history.

Georgia State Law students become members of Law Review by invitation, based on exceptional academic standing or performance in a rigorous annual writing competition. Participation provides an intensive educational experience beyond the basic law school curriculum by enhancing analytical, organizational and writing skills. Members of the legal community place high value on these qualities and regard them as essential to successfully practicing law.
