Ervin Martinez Receives Spirit of Service Award at Georgia State University's 1913 Society Awards

Ervin Martinez of Buford received the Spirit of Service Award for working at the most university events (this year, there was a tie) during the Georgia State University 1913 Society Awards on May 3, 2017.

Martinez is majoring in Computer Information Systems and attended Lanier High School.

The 1913 Society - a student ambassador program established by the Office of the President - provides an opportunity for outstanding undergraduate students to serve as official hosts and goodwill ambassadors for the university.

Among the most prestigious student organizations at Georgia State, ambassadors with The 1913 Society, named for the year the university was founded, serve as hosts for high-profile events and ceremonies. Members maintain excellent grades and carry themselves with poise and professionalism at all times.
