Copeland one of 31 inducted into Kappa Delta Pi honor society

Amanda Copeland of Marietta was one of 31 students in Georgia State University's College of Education inducted into the Omicron Gamma chapter of Kappa Delta Pi, the international honor society in education.

The Omicron Gamma chapter, chartered at Georgia State in 1980, promotes diversity, professionalism and literacy through community service.

Membership into Kappa Delta Pi is by invitation only. Undergraduate students must complete a minimum of 30 credit hours with an institutional grade point average of 3.50 to be eligible to join; graduate students must complete a minimum of 12 credit hours in professional education courses with an institutional grade point average of 3.50 to be eligible.
