Christopher Otts Wins Second Annual BMI Jazz Master Scholarship

Christopher Otts of Augusta, a Georgia State University jazz studies graduate student, recently received the second annual BMI Future Jazz Master Scholarship.

The BMI Future Jazz Master Scholarship is awarded annually to a rising jazz star pursuing an advanced academic degree in jazz studies or jazz performance.

Otts works as a teaching assistant in the Georgia State School of Music. He also maintains a private teaching studio where he gives private lessons to more than 40 students. His debut album, Layers, was recently released.
