Chi Quoc Luong Scores Big in Southeast Math Competition

Chi Quoc Luong of Binh Duong Province (00000) was part of a team of Georgia State University Perimeter College students who consistently scored in the top range during the American Mathematics Association Two Year College (AMATYC) students math competion in fall 2017.

The students helped Perimeter College bring home the 1st place award for the best scoring team among two-year colleges in the Southeast region, which includes Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.

The award was presented during the AMATYC conference in San Diego, Calif. The top five scoring students also won cash prizes for their accomplishment.
