Behafarin Arbasi Wins Award at 2017 Georgia State Undergraduate Research Conference

Behafarin Arbasi of Atlanta, a Georgia State University undergraduate student studying Biological Science, earned first place at the 2017 Georgia State Undergraduate Research Conference (GSURC).

Arbasi's research was showcased in a natural and computational sciences poster presentation entitled, Hormone Response to Isolation vs. Dynamic Social Environments in Convict Cichlids.

This year, more than 155 Georgia State undergraduate students from a variety of academic disciplines were selected to give presentations. Students shared their findings through oral presentations, posters, artistic displays and performances.
