Amanda Trull Graduates from Georgia State University College of Law

Amanda Trull of Fayetteville graduated from Georgia State University College of Law on May 15.

Georgia State Law's Class of 2015 included 166 graduates from full-time and part-time programs. Among them, 58 graduated with pro bono distinction, donating nearly 14,000 hours of legal counsel and service. Nearly 60 graduated with academic honors. This marks the college's 31st commencement and hooding ceremony.

"You are celebrating your first step at becoming a lawyer," Former Gov. Roy Barnes told the Class of 2015.

"Graduation is the beginning of your legal education, you'll continue to learn from your clients, cases and courtrooms. It's a fascinating journey and will help mold you into the lawyer you'll become." Barnes was chosen by the class to speak at the college's 31st commencement ceremony on May 15.

The Class of 2015 is well primed to follow Barnes' advice and represent Georgia State Law as alumni. Among them, 58 graduated with pro bono distinction, donating nearly 14,000 hours of legal counsel and service.

Nearly 60 graduated with academic honors. Together, the entire class will continue to enhance the reputation of Georgia State Law by the contributions they will make to their communities and the profession overall.
