Amadou Bah Competes in Mathematicians of Color Alliance Solve-A-Thon

Amadou Bah, of Lithonia, competed at the Mathematicians of Color Alliance (MOCA) "Solve-A-Thon," at Iowa State University, Jan. 26-29, 2017.

Bah is studying computer science at Georgia State University's Perimeter College.

The three-day competition tested participants' abillity to solve discrete and applied mathematics problems.

MOCA is a group of minority graduate and undergraduate students whose goal is recruitment, retention and mentoring underrepresented students in the mathematics field.
