Allison Alexander Receives Silver Shield Award at Georgia State University's 1913 Society Awards

Allison Alexander of Atlanta received the Silver Shield Award for overall excellence during the Georgia State University 1913 Society Awards on May 3, 2017.

Alexander is majoring in Public Policy and attended Pinewood Christian Academy.

The 1913 Society - a student ambassador program established by the Office of the President - provides an opportunity for outstanding undergraduate students to serve as official hosts and goodwill ambassadors for the university.

Among the most prestigious student organizations at Georgia State, ambassadors with The 1913 Society, named for the year the university was founded, serve as hosts for high-profile events and ceremonies. Members maintain excellent grades and carry themselves with poise and professionalism at all times.
