Alan Emerson Awarded Georgia State University Honors College Dugald Hudson Memorial Scholarship

Alan Emerson, a Neuroscience major of ALPHARETTA, has been awarded the Dugald Hudson Memorial Scholarship.

Established in 2011 by Dr. Nancy Mansfield in honor of Dr. Dugald Hudson, to provide financial support for students in the Honors College. During his tenure at Georgia State, Dr. Hudson was a Professor Emeritus of Legal Studies, and Risk Management and Insurance. Above all else, Dr. Hudson believed in the value of education and its impact on an individuals life. The Dugald Hudson Memorial Scholarship is for rising juniors (45-60 credit hours) in any major who are in good standing in the Honors College. The award is $1000 per academic year for two years with the stipulation that students maintain full-time enrollment and a 3.5 GSU GPA.
